I Can't Believe...

That Guitargirl would put a picture of Dolce&Gabanna cologne on her page just to get me to comment. XD Nice touch!

And Owan asked where I got the drop-dead adorable pic of Peter in the last blog... I got it off Habibi's photo website, found when you click THIS HERE PHRASE. XD
Lots of awesome photos here. :)

For example...

XD XD
Habibi and tMac playing golf... XD
"Hey, look! It went right through that window!" XD

And this one, for my non-Facebook friends...

XD XD XD
Two very cool vikings. :D XD

And this one is just outraegously funny...

XD XD XD XD XD
This just cracks me up. :D Habibi has the best photos.

Meh...

Hai.
My ugleh sore is finally disappearing! :D :D Of course... the process of killing it is more painful than no treatment at all. :( Oh, well. At least it's finally dying. :)

But there are still a lot of sadness around me... one is the fact that netsirK has a total of one hour internet time. That's a serious problem... I don't want to go back to emails back and forth! D':

But I might have to live with that. :( I blame Dude. :P
Wow, I'm feeling pessimistic about this netsirK situation... reminds me of a certain part of a Habibi story...

Then Peter says something I will never forget. Now what was it? Oh yeah! “I’ll find your watch for you, zoom into that last picture and lets have a look round in the sand.” “I betcha you’ll find it!” “Impossible!” Someone cries out from behind a bike, trying to be an encouragement! “It’s like trying to find a needle in a hay stack mate!” “Yeah Habibi, your watch is gone for good.” “Thanks guys”, I respond. A final “No worries!” echoes from the hot springs a quarter mile away.

It's kinda ironic, actually. :P If that was an "official" newsboy, then I will be forever sorely disappointed with which one said it.
Speaking of disappointment... I can't get on Facebook. >:( Facebook is randomly deciding that I can't be on. >:( >:( Hateful.

But I DO have a bright side. It's a photo. An ADORABLE photo. If you don't say it's cute (with the exception of Soul Skittles, who saw it yesterday), then you need a defibrillator shock. >:)

ADORABLE!

Taggy Cont.

Hai.
Here it comes... da moment y'all've been waiting for...

First off -- netsirK. for two reasons. You commented first, and Soul Skittles did you last on her blog.
1. Something random about you.
Man, you define random! XD
2. Song you remind me of.
Pretty much any Skillet song, ever. Panheads unite! :D
3. Flavor of Jell-O for you to dive into
Wow, this question suits you... for some reason, I keep thinking "chocolate," so chocolate. XD
4. Something that only makes sense to the two of us.
Dictate the Firefox line! In memory of Dude. And I have another one: Apple+Control+Option+8.
5. My first memory of you.
On the nb boards. Your avvie was a crab. And your user title was "oh, crab." XD
6. Animal you remind me of.
Alaskan crab. "The Deadliest Catch!" XD
7. Something I've always wondered about you.
Wow, hm... do you have ANY idea why is always rains in your area? XD
8. My favorite thing about you.
You are EXTREMELY random. :D :D And you got me into Skillet, too.
9. My least favorite thing about you.
You never seem to be on. :(

Katie ish next. :D
1. Something random about you.
You're always changing your blog name. XD
2. Song or movie you remind me of.
"My Last Amen" and "Supersonic." XD
3. Jell-O for you to dive into.
Hmm. Maybe apple. Because apple Jell-O ish green. :D
4. Something making sense to you and I...
ICGYOOMS. Best song ever. XD
5. My first memory of you.
BEFORE I joined ccmBuzz. XD
6. Animal you remind me of.
A fox. Don't ask why. XD
7. Something I've always wondered about you.
Have you ever seen Ralphie the squirrel? I mean, again?
8. My favorite thing about you.
How many things you have in common with Duncan. XD
9. My least favorite thing about you.
No comment. XD

And now, Owan... here's where it's gonna get hard...
1. Something random about you.
I think I remember you saying you and netsirK had the same first name. Can't remember that for sure, but if it's true... that's awesome. XD
2. Song or movie you remind me of.
"It Is You." Because you have the single for it.
3. Jell-O for you to dive into.
Hmm... can't think of one... :(
4. Something making sense to just the two of us.
Ooh! Good outlet. I has a request for you. I'll email you about it later. ;)
5. First memory of you.
Wow, can't remember. Sometime on the nb boards, for sure. You still had the avvie of Peter's Thrive photo.
6. Animal you remind me of.
Uhm... hmm, toughie... I can't think of one again. :( Oh, well.
7. Something I've always wondered about you.
Hmm. How did you get your iPod Touch?
8. Favorite thing about you.
The mere fact you have the It Is You single. :P
9. Least favorite thing about you.
Hmm. You don't like Brandon Heath, and you "don't" like animals. I hope I'm wrong with the first one, because Brandon Heath rocks. ;)

And last, guitargirl. Wow, this one'll be tough.
1. Random thing about you.
You have Skillet picture on your playlist! :O :D
2. Song or movie you remind me of.
"Get Down," an Audio Adrenaline song. Don't ask why. XD
3. Jell-O for you to dive into.
Hmm. Lemon! That there was random. :D ;)
4. Something making sense to only the two of us.
Aren't ya glad I let you "meet" Coco? :D
5. First memory of you.
You commented on mah blog. :D I can't remember which blog it was you first commented on, though... hm...
6. Animal you remind me of.
Hmm. A wolf. Just don't ask why, it's a long, long story. :P
7. Something I've always wondered about you.
Uhm... do you have a Gmail account? *just wondering*
8. Favorite thing about you.
You like a lot of songs I like. And you have memorable blog posts, like the Chuck Norris thing and the Extreme Rooster poking post. XD
9. Least favorite thing about you.
I can't think of one. Hurrah for you! :D

Okay, now that that's over... I can rant a little.
I hate this sore! >:( I'm hoping it goes away really soon... and I think I heard it said it just might disappear by Wednesday. :D :D Perfect.

Let it All Come Out -- the Music Game returns...

Merry day-after Christmas! XD
Well, I didn't really have anything to blog about.
That is, until I checked Facebook. :D Thanks, Meg!
Anyway...
I remember doing one of these in August... but I'd LOVE to do it again. :D

1. Put Your iTunes on Shuffle.
2. For each question, press the next button to get your answer.
3. You must write down the name of the song no matter how silly it sounds!

5. Anyone tagged has to do the same, because fun pointlessness spreads like a [computer] virus. <-- nb pun. XD Yes, I know it's bad.

Adoration -- the Christmas Eve Tidings

Hai, all.
It's Christmas Eve. Has it been as strange-feeling for y'all as it has been for me? This year doesn't really feel like Christmas, and yet, here we are.
Boy, 2008 has flown by fast!
This is one of my favorite years to date -- all of my internet friends, I met this year. Which is pretty amazing, if you ask me. :P

But that's not what I wanted to talk about.
What I wanted to talk about was that famed Christmas song we all know... "Adoration."
I'll tell you right now, I love this song. A lot.

You know the lyrics to it, right? I sure do.
And my favorite part has to be some of the best lyrics I've ever seen. Look --

He raises a wrinkled hand
Through the dust and the flies,
Wrapped in rags like we are,
And with barely open eyes,
He takes my finger,
And He won't let go, and He won't let go.
It's nothing like I knew before,
And it's all I need to know.

My highlight of my favorite part (:P) is in bold. :)
And here --

Jesus, our Emmanuel,
He's with us here, and He won't let go!

:D
Imagery like that makes my heart happy.

Don't you agree?

Happiness

Well. Today has been pretty good. :) I went to the dentist and they fixed my horrid, rotten tooth. :D
Much better than this time last year, when I was struggling to sleep, and I couldn't, because I was that sick.
Oh, well.
I have some more nb photos courtesy of Flickr.

Goodness, Jeff, do you have to stare at the camera so hard? Your death stare made the photo blurry!
God will always be with Duncan... even when he least realizes it...

You know Dunny's had too much coffee when he thinks his passport is his first driver's license.

"I believe I can fly... I believe I can touch the sky..."

"Are they really gonna do it, dude? Are they really gonna collide into each other?"
"Of course! Peter will do anything for vegemite."

And that's it for now.

CZYA

Well.

Today... is another day... Christmas Adam (XD) is tomorrow... it's funny.
Last year, by the end of this day, I was terribly sick. How sick? Well, it kept me up ALL NIGHT. >:(

This year, the economy is sick. So very sickly.
I need something to cheer meh up.

I KNOW! I KNOW! I KNOW! I KNOW! I KNOW!

There's been a controversy on the nb boards about a certain former newsboy's possible return. Even Habibi mentioned this former newsboy in his last report. So something's up if even Habibi says something on the subject.
Well, I'm beside myself in this matter. To be honest, I've always wanted to hitchhike (or fly, walk, something) to Arizona and see if Jody still lived in Yuma. And then meet him, beg for stories, all that...

But this... this just... well, on the inside, I look like this --> :O

I'ma post a little page... made by a certain fan, who was a huge, huge fan of Jody... CLICK HUR FOR IT.

And now I'm gonna quote Spongebob -- "Don't you have to be dead to have a memorial anything?" (That was Squidward who said that, actually. :P)

But this page is pretty cool. All the things you wanted to know about Jody's... smile issues, mainly. Poor dude didn't really smile in pictures much. But I've already blogged about that.

Go see!

SQUEE!

Someone was nice enough to put down the lyrics to "In The Hands of God!" CLICK HERE FOR IT!!!

I love this song. I'm trying so hard to keep the tune in my head.
And I have part of the chorus as a sig on the nb boards. :)

So far, this has to be one of my favorites, just below "Isaiah" in awesomeness. :)
I bet Habibi has heard it by now. I wonder what he thinks of it?
Aw, he probably loves it, too.

According to Jon and Sherri, Peter has song idea problems. XD He has too many!
Apparently, it started as like 60 ideas, but this time around, it got so much worse -- 250 song ideas.
And you could throw a hundred of 'em my way?? I WANT 'EM!!!

I'm glad the guys are working hard to get the songs done... may we have another? *sits up and begs*

Taaaaaahhhhgggeeeeddd agiiiiiiiiiiiiinnnnn...

Hai, all.
AFTER YOU READ THIS, PLEASE READ THE LAST TWO BLOGS IF YOU HAVE NOT DONE SO ALREADY!!!

I was tagged by two people on Facebook to do this. And so I shall.
16 RANDOM THINGS ABOUT MOI.

1. My musical taste is everywhere. I will listen to just about anything; this maybe why I love the first three newsboys albums so much.

2. I have this strange feeling my youth group leaders don't like me. Some of them, anyway.

3. In real life, I tend to repeat phrases I just said under my breath. It gets annoying.

4. I have really bad teeth, and it's my fault they're in such terrible shape.

5. Give me a database of newsboys photos and I will try my best to caption each of them. :D

6. I've had three laptops, all in the span of about two years.

7. I haven't seen snow where I live in years.

8. I randomly fantasize about the nb, especially when I'm listening to their music; one of my favorites comes to mind whenever I play a song off HWAG -- a private nb concert with only me and my closest nb-loving friends, with the guys having the chance to get up close and personal with the audience. :P
Oh, the downsides to being a fangirl...

9. I think Macs are the best computers ever. :)

10. There are [at least] three places I would like to visit before I die: Israel, Aussie, and New Zealand.

11. I have more nb memorobillia (sp?) than I do nb albums... not sure whether that's a good thing or a bad thing.

12. I don't like High School Musical, Hannah Montana, or Twilight. Yes, I said it!
Oddly enough, I had never heard of Twilight until I came on Facebook.

13. If anyone actually knocks on my bedroom door, I consider it a God-given miracle; NO ONE knocks in my house.

14. I've known my way around a computer since age 3. I did a lot of things at 3 years old, like teach myself to read.

15. The only instrument I can play is my vocals. Though I do wanna learn to play guitar and drums in the near future. :)

16. If you haven't heard or learned already, I'm spoiled.

There we go. To my friends on Blogger -- I hereby tag Soul Skittles, netsirK, Verja, Guitargirl and Owan. :)

OGC! OGC! OCG!

I'm so happy!!!!

Peter! Was on KLove! He debuted "In The Hands of God!" He lost his voice for three days after he sang the whole thing (XD I think he was kidding, I certainly hope he was!)! Everyone who's heard it loves it! INCLUDING ME!!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Joy abounds.
"You're amazing! You're amazing! You're amazing, You are!"
That's the bridge of the song. :D

I can't remember all the lyrics now (I SHOULD HAVE WRITTEN THEM DOWN!!!), but I do remember the bridge, and some of the chorus.

"In the hands of God, we stand tall..."

Yeah, I don't remember much. BUT I LOVE IT SOOOOOO MUCH!!
And why can't they release it sooner?? Pete said May... I'm hoping Paul's album in January will fill the void as we wait for this AWESOME song and its counterparts. :)

176th Post... OF FUN!!!!!!!!!

Hai! This be post #176. HURRAH!
And to celebrate, I shall post (and caption -- for now) these Flickr newsboys photos Jess and I (mainly Jess) found. :D

This is my absolute FAVORITE. XD I have SO many ideas to caption this bad boy. XD

Duncan's not afraid of surfboards!
Or is he...?
:O Peter reminds me of a dog with his head hanging out the window of a moving vehicle here. XD

"Squizzy-san, you are no match for my maaaaad kung-fu skills." XD
Peter endorsing for Apple. :D

There are more photos we found that were awesome, but these were by far the best. :D

And with this, I shall bid y'all adieu.

Figgy Pudding

The title is what Rusty is calling himself now. XD
That's his so-called "rapper name." Strange, he sounds like tobyMac. XD

So now we (we, as in Soul Skittles, netsirK, Verja and anyone else who would like to join in) must all refer to him as Figgy Pudding.
Then laugh. Hard.

Well, I got an opinion on Dude from Rusty.
In case you didn't know, Dude is having battery problems -- he won't work unless he's on his charger.
But Rusty didn't bother to hear the whole story, so he think's it's the Kiwi power cord. Extremely unlikely, if you ask me.

Now I'm being rushed off. >:( Hateful.

17 December 2008

Hai.

I got a Skillet song stuck in my head yesterday (and I kept playing it... and playing it... and playing it... XD)... and it made me think about something.

There are even CHRISTIAN songs that might get misconstrued and get kids in trouble. Take the Skillet song that got stuck in my head, for example.
The song? "Better than Drugs."

O.o
And if you sang the chorus alone in a public place... well, it equals trouble.

It reminded me of an OLD newsboys song... "In the End."
The song mentions beer! XP
I bet this song and "Sing Aloud" cause Peter to cringe and have nightmares at night.

There was my random topic for the day.
And this, too...
The original caption was "you wonder what's going through his head when he makes a face like this."

I know the answer to that!
He was thinking of "Taste and See." And the video, with the overload of red... and lime colored visor... and rapping... XD

WHO THE 'ECK IS FUNNIER?!

I commented on netsirK's blog today... and it inspired this blog's topic today...

WHO IS FUNNIER: Peter Furler OR John Cooper (don't say Paul -- Peter is funnier than Paul, admit it. XD)

Well... John is great with puns and such...

Ben. "Did you take that from one of the toilets in the venue, or is that brand new?"
Scotty. "I took it from one of the ones at the venue."
John. "Dude, I bet that makes you feel like crap." *makes a stupid face as he laughs at himself*

Meanwhile, Peter is absolutely ready for anything you could possibly throw at him. Case in point --

Peter. Gee, you're talkin' a lot.
Paul. Well, I heard that for every 274 words, you lose a calorie!
Peter. Well, you aren't talking enough, then.

So...
Which of these two do you think is funnier?!
Pete?
John?

More Skillet!

"SUICIDE! SUICIDE! SUICIDE!" XD XD

This is my all-time favorite Skillet podcast -- this is the one where I got the John Reuben-bathroom thing in the previous blog. XD And how nice, John even introduces himself for all who don't know. XD

It's kinda sad, since most of the podcasts only feature Ben and Jen (Ben Kasica (sp, netsirK?) and Jen Ledger), and each time, I'm like, "WHERE IS JOHN?!?!?!"
Because John rocks. Like, out loud.

And so does THIS podcast!!

Wow, what a pass. XD
It's a toilet seat head! XD

Random Skillet Quotes

Haihai.
This is my first blog on Dude! Everyone must applaud. XD

And to kick that off, I'm gonna list some funny Skillet quotes. Mainly Cooper quotes. And by Cooper, I mean John Cooper -- see, since I know two famous Johns (not including any in the Bible, mind you), so I'm just gonna call him Cooper. Much like netsirK calls him Mr. Cooper. But I can't stand formalities, so I'm gonna go plain ol' Cooper.

"We're here, uh, just being really awesome together. Am I right?" - Cooper.

*is doing absolutely NOTHING* "This is what we do backstage; we just go crazy." - Cooper.

"Hey, Jen, who's your favorite lead singer/bass player in the rock band?" - Cooper.

"Oh, snap! Change the tanks." - Cooper.

"Just finished the DVD shoot. We think it went good, but I hate hearing myself sing live." - Cooper.

"Eating candy, drinking waters, watch this right here..." *pours water on face* - Cooper (again).

"I got one more thing to say -- rock and roll ain't noise pollution." - Cooper (AMEN, MAN!)

"WHAT ARE WE DOING?!" - Cooper.

"I don't have snot smacking in my mouth" - Cooper.

"Dude, I bet that makes you feel like crap." - Cooper.

"Finally, John Reuben comes out, and sits down -- he had a notepad. We think he was writing music in the bathroom." - Cooper.

"We're hanging out here with Lacey from Flyleaf; she's eating a little too much... now she's eating a dirt bar." - Cooper.

"I'm not trying to show my muscle, they just pop out everywhere." - Cooper.

"Well, I'm one of those songwriters... everything I hear goes through my John Cooper filter of of what I like and what I don't like..." - Cooper (who else?)

And finally...

"So you're probably wondering where the name comes from. We were named after a frying pan. No, no... here's the real story... we... were... named... after a frying pan." - Unknown Skillet member, probably Cooper.

XD Have fun with that!

Random Question-Answering Bloggy

Hai.
While I'm here, I might as well answer some questions in my comments.

netsirK:
"That's a good lookin laptop! K, I dunno if Dude is the right kind for this, but you can try it anyway. It's fun!
Hold down Command, control, option, and 8 at the same time. If it works, then change it back by holding down the same keys.I have fun doing that. :D"

Okay, first off -- tell me via email what that does. I wanna know because I don't wanna damage Dude. XD
But it sounds fun! XD

Owan:
Was Helmet another computer of yours?

Yes, he sure is. If you want to see what he looks like, go HERE.

Yay Squizzy! Very nice looking deal. Would this be a Newsboys iPod or your Other iPod?

Squizzy is my newsboys iPod. And for me, my nb iPods include newsboys, Paul Colman's (and PC3's) albums, Jody's only album, and Phil's albums. And then there's the black sheep, "Unified;" that is only on my iPod because Peter does the vocals on it. XD

Maccy Mach 2

Here it be! And no, Dude is not red. XD It's the red photo again. XD

See? He's not red.
This is Dude operating Safari (with the cord in! :D)

As for Helmet... Dad confiscated him for his own purposes. XD He's never operated a Mac before. But I have. So now he wants him running too. XD

Another update on Swampie. I gave him to a friend of mine to dissect him (AKA, give him an autopsy). Apparently, it was my fault Swampie died; and I didn't just murder him, I slaughtered him. XD Poor thing.
Luckily, Swampie's heart (or hard drive, whichever you prefer) was removed, but if he can succeed in getting my Wordpad documents off, I think they might be read-only. :( Oh, well.

And since you haven't seen Squizzy in a while, I thought I might show you what he looks like now.

He has a new cover on him. And he hasn't malfunctioned for a few months now. :D VERY good thing!!

And I leave you with this (which might leave a few hanging threads that I might have to explain. XD)

Attack of the workstations! XD

Ah, what 'eck. I'll explain.
See, at school, I have this workstation here. Every kid and teacher has one on their account. And every so often when I open IE, it kinda freezes when it goes onto my blog. And so when I bring the workstation to the front, it becomes attack of the workstations. It's so much fun. XD

I'm done.

Maccy

Haia.
I bet you think the blog title suggests that I will talk about my new Mac.

>:)

You'd be WRONG. Dead WRONG. MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

I'm at school. I can't upload photos, even if I wanted to.
But my Mac rocks.
Because he rocks, I named him Dude. After Peter. XD

Well, I guess I can tell you about what happened when I brought him to youth group.

I brought the ever-awesome Dude to youth group in his equally awesome laptop case (THANK YOU, HANNAH!), and Rusty immediately noticed (tonight, he was Mr. Beanie Hat Man. XD). He knew I brought a laptop, but he thought it was a windows.

>:D

So I showed him Dude. He thought he was a brand new Macbook Pro. Hah, I wish. No, he's slightly older. :P :P
So he took over it temporarily, trying to get Dude onto the church's secure internet. It took a few tries. XD But he finally did get on and I had internet!

And Hannah wanted pictures of me opening it and my reaction... but no such luck. :( :(

But for the rest of you, I have the next-best thing. Perhaps.

Haha! An OLD picture of Peter! I think he was overcaffeinated. But was Red Bull the culprit? We will never know.

Open Wounds

All of you who seem to have something against JOC, I'll talk to y'all later.

Right now, I wanna point out something.

netsirK sent me a Skillet song called "Open Wounds." Now, this song rocks. A lot. And I looked at the album review on JfH for the album it's on (Collide), and whoever reviewed it (DiBiase? Can someone see? My school blocks JfH) said this song didn't have any spiritual meaning; it just addressed John Cooper's (for all non-panheads, that's Skillet's frontman) estranged relationship with his father.

Well. I beg to differ.
JfH does have a reputation for being wrong in some places. This is one of those places.

I found a spiritual story here. Think about what I'm gonna say, I implore you.
In my mind, this song is [still] about an estranged father and son... but the father is God. In my mind, the "son" has become angry with God and keeps blaming Him for everything, and he's convinced that God hates him and He can't do anything to stop his pain. And God puts up an interesting arguement... "How could you love Me/when all you ever gave Me/were open wounds."
And by that, I mean that God is likely implying the "son" has always been this way, and all he keeps doing is adding to Christ's scars ("open wounds").

Have you ever thought of it that way, netsirK?

I was shocked when JfH said something like that. Goes to show you can find a spiritual message in any song.

The Answers.

No witty titles here.

1. Yes, this is "Voice of Truth" by Casting Crowns. Do NOT ask why I have this song on my iPod!! *whimper*

2. "Here Is Our King" -- David Crowder Band.

3. "Atmosphere" -- tMac.

4. "Famous Last Words" -- Jars of Clay. Dang, y'all certainly need to brush up on your JOC! XD

5. "Catchafire" -- tMac. This song, on the other hand, is like "Shine..." too easy to remember! XD

6. "How Great is Our God" -- Chris Tomlin. And of course, everyone got this right. Except netsirK. What's wrong with you? XD J/K.

7. "After Your Heart" -- Phil Wickham. netsirK is the only one who got this right?! Geez...

8. "Fever" -- FF5. Yeah, this one was kinda easy, too.

9. "God Is Watching Over You" -- Phil! Only Guitargirl got this one right... where are my Phil fans?!

10. "Untitled Hymn (Come to Jesus)" -- Chris Rice. This one was kinda hard. :P

11. "Radiator" -- FF5. I. LOVE. This. Song. Can't believe I stumped y'all here.

12. "The Slam" -- tMac. Soul Skittles! netsirK! Why didn't you get this one?

13. "Whispers in the Dark." -- Skillet. That mistake is gonna haunt me forever. XD

14. "Fly" -- Jars of Clay. Seriously, y'all should think about listening to more JOC. XD

15. "Everything You Ever Wanted" -- Hawk Nelson. Semi-hard. But that was the prechorus, so...

16. "Speechless" -- SCC. Goodness, I stumped y'all again! It's fun to stump. :P

17. "No One Loves Me Like You." -- Jars of Clay. Don't make me repeat it. XD

18. "Show You Love" -- Jars of Clay. This one is slightly more well-known. I love this one, too. :)

19. "Hide" -- Joy Williams. This is a pretty song, too. :)

20. "We Live" -- Superchic[k]. Not all that hard.

21. "Dead Man (Carry Me)" -- Jars of Clay. How come y'all get the well-known JOC songs?!? XD

22. "Pure" -- Superchic[k]. This song is A-W-E-S-O-M-E in chipmunk. XD

23. "Isaiah" -- nb. I know for sure this was the ONLY nb song on this list 'cause my shuffle only has two newsboys songs on it. And this one is rare, so I didn't exactly expect everyone to jump on it as if it were "Shine."

24. "Disappear" -- Jars of Clay. -.- Ugh.

25. "Flood." -- Jars of Clay. Now this one is just sad. Did anyone get this one?? Just Guitargirl? Sheesh... -.-

26. "Sea of Faces" -- Kutless. At last, someone recognizes this song! I stumped y'all the last time I used it. XD

27. "Goodbye, Goodnight" -- Jars of Clay. I have to admit, this song is 100% weird. XD

28. "Big Boy." -- PC3. Again, I didn't expect too many people to get this right. "Big Boy" is an Aussie PC3 song, after all.

29. "I Believe" -- Third Day. I don't know if you're right or not, Guitargirl... look it up. :P

30. "Shout" -- Phil Joel. Wow, more people got this one right than number 11. If that isn't sad, I don't know what is!

;)

It's Baaaaaaaaaaaack!

Yes, the thing that will have Soul Skittles skinning me alive -- it's another game!!!!!

I'm doing this on my iPod shuffle for two reasons -- one, because that's the iPod that has more than just nb and their members' projects, and two, because I have a slightly different iTunes.

Here we go...

1. "But the waves are calling out my name, and they laugh at me."

2. "A trace of what we're looking for, so be quite loud, and wait." (I think those are slightly misheard. XD)

3. "I know you keep a journal, and every page is rippled with the tears that you cry..."

4. "Empty are the musings, and wasted are the days you said you were only waiting."

5. "I caught the fire, and I'll never be the same."

6. "The Godhead, three in one; Father, Spirit, Son, the Lion and the Lamb."

7. "Let's be the revolution that lives for holding nothing back!"

8. "Somebody call me up The New York Times; this fever's gonna make the headlines!"

9. "And if those clouds should start to break, He'll be standing out in the rain with you, I know it's hard to believe, He believes in you!"

10. "Now your burden's lifted, and carried far away."

11. "I am transcending space and time, I'm traveling at the speed of light!"

12. "They came from the cities and towns all around to see the long-haired creature from the desert get down."

13. "My love is just waiting to throw you in crimson roses." (I KNOW I got this one wrong. It's embarrassing and it's mocking me!!)

14. "Shed your heart and your breath and your pain and fly."

15. "It took the seasons going by, to know it's not my fault."

16. "You have shown us a love that leaves us speechless."

17. "You justified my folly, my affluent disguise, removed revealing nothing, yet nothing unforgiven lies."

18. "We can drown in mixed emotions and walk across an angry sea; this is the cost of being free."

19. "So come out, come out, wherever you are."

20. "So how does the story end? Well this is your story and it all depends."

21. "Can you find a beat inside of me? Any pulse? Getting worse."

22. "This is my brand new day in the light, troubles rising up on the left and the right."

23. "Lift Him up, 'cause the Lord is good!"

24. "I watch you smile, you steal the show."

25. "Dark sky all around; can't feel my feet touching the ground."

26. "I am not just a man vastly lost in this world."

27. "Strike up the band to play a song as we go waltzing by."

28. "Don't you know this situation's not gonna go away?"

29. "And I believe in a faith that's strong, and I believe in a hope that carries on."

30. "Oh, do you hear the sound of a great army? Do you hear a rushing wind?"

Go on! Guess!

It's So Hard To Believe...

It's so hard to believe,
You're here with me now,
Makes me feel so alive,
I got to let it out!
Extraordinary,
You're bringing me out,
Fill my heart with Your love,
And turn my world around!

I TOTALLY fell in love with this song. I heard it on KLove one night, recognized Bryan Olesen's voice (from when I first heard "Alright"), and said, "I knew it! It's by VOTA!"

I like this name better than Casting Pearls. Less conflict with the overrated Casting Crowns. XP VOTA is quite the opposite! I wanna hear more of VOTA! WHOO!

*ahem* ANYWAY! I wanna show y'all something, tell me what you think -- CLICK HUR. XD And yes, this was my post.

Boomwhackers! I used those in elementary school. I love those colored tubes. XD

And I couldn't resist -- Lizzie, you set me up for something! XD

Alright, I'm done... netsirK, you missed a post!

LIGHT SWITCH!!

Be jealous. XD

Do you love it? I got it off eBay last year, I think. It rocks. :D
Yes, this was the main reason I blogged.

But! What of what happened yesterday?

Well, all you need to know is, I was coughing, cramping, feeling all ewie, had to go to the doctor mid-school day, got a shot (the only GOOD shot I've ever had. :D), went home, felt great.

And I was home. :D
Squee! I actually got to talk to Soul Skittles on a SCHOOL DAY! That's rare. :)

And I had a SUPER long chat with Hannah. :) Also somewhat rare.

I need something funny. Something really funny. Funnier than the Chuck Norris jokes on Guitargirl's bloggy.

Maybe I'll find something. I'm still looking for The New Normal lyrics! XD

We Interrupt this Wednesday to bring you...

... the news that I can't stop listening to "Shout." XD It's an addicting song!! It was worth the $0.99 I paid for it... even if I might have had no need to do so (Whoops. XD)

But I can't find any lyrics! I've caught some of the lyrics (definitely the chorus and the prechorus), but some are hard to tell. If someone can find the lyrics to the songs on The New Normal, please tell me. I don't wanna have to buy the CD just for lyrics. That'd be sort of a waste.

This song seriously rocks. I think this is Phil's new "signature" song in my mind now (It used to be "God Is Watching Over You," but not anymore!!). I wish Phil had made this song longer than two minutes and 33 seconds. It's one of the shortest songs I have on Squizzy! Shame. :(

You may now return to your regularly scheduled Wednesday.

OGC, MY BLOG'S ON FIRE!!!!!!

Oh, wait... please ignore the title! XD

We did something in Law class yesterday... a mock trial. Dude, it was great. Our defense attourney was hilarious.

"She was loopy!"
"Do you think that phone is annoying?" (the phone rang mid-trial. XD)

So what did I do? It called for me to impersonate an E.R. doctor. XD No, I didn't operate on anybody, so don't get all crazy.
I had to answer questions. I'm surprised I didn't crack under the pressure! XD I'm surprised I knew my character that well!
But after I was done, I left. I gotta know the verdict! XD

In other news, it's cold today in Southeastern NC. Too bad that most of the time, the closest thing we get to snow is frost -- or as I like to call it, frozen dew.

Hmm... I need a photo or two to caption...

Phil attempting to impersonate Fonzie (y'know, Happy Days? XD). Give it up, Phil. You rock in your own way. ;)

OGC, Phil's sleepwalking! ... ... Let's hug him and freak him out!!

The buck stops here. For today.
