The Project

I just got assigned the best project ever. :D

See, we have to do a project in Geometry class, and the requirements are simple - anything to do with measurement.

At first, I was kind of wondering what the heck I'd do, thinking about all the things I like - the project was supposed to be flexible and enjoyable. Which it will be.

Because I'm doing my project on this:

Yup, that's right. My car.

Y'all know I'm a car nut, right? Well, now you definitely do. :D

Basically, I have to do a scale model or drawing (most likely drawing) of what it looks like now, and what a typical car of its make and model look like.

And as an added bonus, I'll add on the costs of getting what we're missing. Which includes a hood, a front bumper, front fenders, and headlights. And the title of the car, which allows us to do anything to it.

We just recently got that. :D

And in case you were wondering, a typical Honda del Sol (that's what the car is called) looks like:

Notice the roof of the car? That's why it's called a del Sol - "del Sol" means "of the sun." Honda of the sun! XD

The missing roof is known as a targa top - very close to an actual convertible. It's also close to a convertible in terms of seats -there are only two.

I still say it looks like a Volkswagon. Except for the lights - they turned out perfect. :P

One Ailment to Another

Oh. Hai.

How are y'all today?

Me? Oh, I feel better than I have in five weeks (especially since I felt the worst on Sundays). But with the departure of the headaches, the eyestrain... in comes the evil hanging toenail.

Ugh.

The toenail (not to mention cramping whose origin I'd rather not say) is pretty much worse than the aforementioned other ailments.

Nooo, the toenail is making my life... well, hell on earth. *careful not to curse*

I jammed my toe into my left shoe. It feels weird. I take a shiny light to it (this was two evenings ago), and realize I broke it... like far, far down it.

I'm debating whether I should show you.

It's... red. Not like skin can turn red, but like blood can turn red.

And with each passing night, it gets looser. Today was the first day that I had to actually wear shoes with the nasty nail.

And it was horrible. I was limping, the nail was being ornery (XD), and quite frankly, I didn't want to move.

So here I am, in desperate need of sandals. I hate my nails. Nothing but trouble. Same for those little tiny toes on either foot. Nothing but pain and suff'rin'.

*kicks something with left foot*

Should be fun, taking a shower tonight. *pout*

Okay, I'm done ranting. :) Y'all can go on with your happy Easters and such. Or in Skittles' case, Pussywillow Sundy

That was the only highlight of my day thus far - the fact that it's Easter.

Ugh!

Hai.

I'm sick again.

Whoop-dee-doo.

No April Fools jokes here. I'd much rather it was, though.

But no such luck.

My eyes hurt.

I strained them last night.

I was planning to stay up until at least midnight.

But then the strain set in.

I closed up my laptop, hoping to return to it.

Then I later turned it off and tried to sleep.

Two hours.

I lay awake in agony for two hours.

My eyes, sensitive to everything but pure darkness.

Light made it worse... closing my eyes made it worse...

And then the nausea.

Trust me, you don't want details on that.

Finally... around 11:30,

The strain settled... the nausea settled...

Woke up again at 6...

Told Mom what happened...

And there you have it.

I'm still worried about my eyes.

They still hurt.

Not as bad as last night, but still.

Prayer would be nice. :)
