The Amazing Electronic Gearshift

If you wanna know how it works... I dunno.
But it was the gearshift on the "spare" bus "we" rode this morning... I say that because I really don't consider the bus a "spare..." and neither does my mother's supervisors.

So why we had it in the first place, I don't even know. :P

Just marvel at how shiny it is and wonder how it can change gears in a bus. :)

So... where do I begin?

It's beauty. Pure beauty.

You can definitely tell this song refers to the military... Aussie military, in this case.

The pride is unmistakable... say what you want, but I believe that's what makes this song beautiful.

"Grant me another day..."

I don't know the whole lyrics, bare with me. :P

Anyway...

I won't lie, the song is sad, too. Especially with the circumstances... but it's obvious why Tait will NEVER be able to do this song, period.

It's too bad Duncan hasn't sung in over a decade... ;) Because he's the only newsboy that would ever be qualified now to come even close to playing this song...

*ahem* I can't stay on that subject.

It's been a while.

I can't believe I only blogged six times in April. :P
So... what's been happening with me?

Well.
I haven't listened to a full newsboys song in months. At least one or two. I haven't worn my newsboys shirts in a while. Squizzy has been grossly underused.
Why this is, or whether it is because of the... change... has yet be seen. It very well might be. Nonetheless, I need to hear them again, soon, due to the closeness of the release of ITHOG. Halp.

I've been listening to Skee-let, Family Force 5, RR... Jars of Clay... yeah.
I'm recovering from my strange sicknesses... kinda.
I've been getting to know my father's family better (and it's been a fun ride, I might add).
I... well, I dunno what else to say.

The school's proxy system is on the fritz again. Knock on wood. ;)

The Project

I just got assigned the best project ever. :D

See, we have to do a project in Geometry class, and the requirements are simple - anything to do with measurement.

At first, I was kind of wondering what the heck I'd do, thinking about all the things I like - the project was supposed to be flexible and enjoyable. Which it will be.

Because I'm doing my project on this:

Yup, that's right. My car.

Y'all know I'm a car nut, right? Well, now you definitely do. :D

Basically, I have to do a scale model or drawing (most likely drawing) of what it looks like now, and what a typical car of its make and model look like.

And as an added bonus, I'll add on the costs of getting what we're missing. Which includes a hood, a front bumper, front fenders, and headlights. And the title of the car, which allows us to do anything to it.

We just recently got that. :D

And in case you were wondering, a typical Honda del Sol (that's what the car is called) looks like:

Notice the roof of the car? That's why it's called a del Sol - "del Sol" means "of the sun." Honda of the sun! XD

The missing roof is known as a targa top - very close to an actual convertible. It's also close to a convertible in terms of seats -there are only two.

I still say it looks like a Volkswagon. Except for the lights - they turned out perfect. :P
