Super Flair

Haia, peeps.

To all my Facebook-using friends (with the exceptions of PieNi and netsirK, who have both discovered this) -- have y'all found out about SUPER flair?
Well, let me introduce you to it... via some of the flair I've found/created. *crosses fingers*

Yes, this is SUPER flair! Nice, huh?
Actually, I created all of that. Yeah. It be true.

My favorite of these is up at the top, of Pete and Bull. Though the one of Pete and Duncan near the bottom is a close second, and the one of Pete and Phil is a good close third. Yeah.

Check it out!!

Oh, look. STUFF.

Hai.

See my NEW new template?
I wasn't happy with mine. When I do a new one, it'll be better. ;)

And have y'all noticed my playlist? At the bottom of the page? If you don't have sound, GET IT! XD. I finally got it to work so I don't have to pull up the standalone player. :D :D
And the song I have playing first (now) fits into the layout. ;)
Anyway.
I have no more blogging topic other than that. So more captioning! XD

Anyone wanna little barbequed hamster? I thought not.

Starry newsboys! Guess who's who. Hint - Think 1996 lineup (and Phil's missing)

Errr... aahhhh... um... no comment. Yes, that's Peter. In a head brace. The Shine video is weird. And NOT boring (they once said it was. :P)!

We got open mouths here! Where's the marshmallow committee when you need 'em?! XD

Wheeeeee, watchin' the little hippie van goooo...

Jody no liking the head brace. Yeah, that IS Jody!

Not a bad looking bunch. Too bad they're missing Jeff and Phil. And Jody's cut off. :P

Free hugs, anyone? :D :D :D :D

Poor John, aka Mr. Leg Cramp. But his stance is hilarious... hence Peter's reaction.

Yep, that's it.

My Worst Fears Realized

Alright, this is just sad.
Who rigged the polls?!

But if only shallowness exists,
I shall persist
To rip apart the whole structure
And expose the neucleus,
Shallowness exists,
I shall persist
To rip apart the whole structure
And expose it for what it is:

Lack of understanding,
Lack of communication,
Lack of a desire for expanding education,
Lack of inspiration,
Lack of innovation,
The fact you can't respect another man's creation,
Lack of motivation,
Lack of restoration,
The fact we lack unity and enjoy seperation,
Lack of destination,
Cuz you know what I feel?
I feel that humans lack the ability to be real.
-John Reuben, "Do Not"

I think my body's in shock,
It just don't know what to do!
- Family Force 5, "Fever"

Deny myself,
Deny my heart,
Deny Your hand,
Deny Your help,
And You offer me eternity,
But why should I buy that?
- Jars of Clay, "Sinking" (as in, the US... not I)

Yeah, you get the idea.
This is MORE than what people think.
I present MY view of Obama now.

I think that most Obama supporters were lied to. Uninformed of what he truly is.
He is NOT African-American. Especially not in my eyes.
He doesn't represent change to me; he represents the end times.

Think about it... to me, it all fits together.
Obama thinks he's gonna end the Iraqi war?
I think he's gonna trigger Armaggeddon.

He had 143 days EXPERIENCE! He tells the people what they want to hear! People aren't listening to reason, but what they want to hear!
He may not say he's muslim, but he can't deny his muslim roots. He can't deny what his mentor said about America. It's horrendous. The man is inexperienced! NO ONE gets into a position of authority after 143 days! And yet Obama has. There is DEFINITELY something wrong with this picture.

There goes all our efforts to ban abortion. All our efforts to ban homosexuality. All out the window.

This is MY view, okay? It may or may not be truth, but it's enough to keep me in tears all this morning.

The nation is silently singing a song... and you know what that song is?
It's a song by Jars of Clay. Called "Sinking." Look up the lyrics on Jesus Freak Hideout. ;
What it SHOULD be singing is the song with the exact opposite story: "I Need You," another song by Jars of Clay. Look that one up, too.

There. My view.

END RANT.

UPDATE: I have disabled any more comments. netsirK, if you wanna comment, tell me and I'll let you comment. ONLY YOU. I mean no offense to any of my other blog readers, but I don't want a big ol' arguement. ;)

The Priests

Hai again, peeps.

On a side note... I must ask if y'all like my new bloggy layout. I don't particularly like it all that much, but at least I tried!

Okay, now on to the main topic.

THIS THREAD RIGHT HERE
is pure gold. Hilarious pastor mix-ups. :D
But the part I wanna blog about is THIS part here:

While studying the intricate dress of the priests in the Old Testament, the preacher came to the part that describes how the priests put bells on the bottom of their robes. He asked, "Why do you suppose the priests had to tinkle." After a second of silence, the class broke up with laughter.

When I first saw this, I broke up in laughter. I was laughing so hard, I was tearing up!!

What do y'all think?

North Carolina Heritage

Haihai.
I was thinking about something yesterday.
Tacogirl, Verja and netsirK all talk about where they live every once in a while, but I haven't talked about where I live ONCE. So I thought I'd introduce you to all the stuffs of North Carolina. In Facebook flair.

Yes, I am. Born and raised in a little suicidal town called Wilmington (and I DO mean suicidal).

The North Carolina quarter! Same theme as our normal licence plates: the first flight, right along our Outer Banks.

And the iconic Cape Hatteras. Tallest brick lighthouse in the country. And we have it! :D

And this has dual meanings: North Carolina is known as the Tarheel state. And if you want a little historical background on that, we used to be big, big producers of tar. And as anyone who works with tar knows (and anyone who's resourceful, such as myself. :P), it leaves a stain that's VERY hard to get off your heel!

As for the other meaning, it has to do with a sports team; a COLLEGE sports team:
Remember when I said Rusty is a big fan of this team? So is my mother. I've kinda been pulled into it. :P

Case in point; The Duke Blue Devils and Carolina Tarheels have a heated rivalry (to say the LEAST).

And this is an example of our normal license plate. It says, "Cherokee" (duh. XD). Cherokee indians are cool; my grandfather is half Cherokee. :D

Ah, yes. Fort Fisher's aquarium. I've been there DOZENS of times. But it's still a gorgeous place, even if I practically know the place like the back of my hand.

And all the major details of our flag. Hooray for our state flag! :D XD

And with that, I finish.

THE INEFFABLE DUNCAN PHILLIPS

Oh, hai.

Guess what I saw on newsboys' twitter?? This (and I quote):

"MVP of last night's show goes to Duncan. Due to injury, played the entire show without the use of his right leg!"

Dude, that man deserves an Emmy, or a medal, or something! Maybe a Purple Heart. XD Kidding.
And this is the same dude I met almost 4 months ago, with a giant grin on his face, acting like he's known me all his life. Great mate.

I wanted to bring that to all of your attention. Prayer request for this dude here.

Laptop Blues

Haihai.
Once again, I'm not on Swampie. Swampie made me really mad last night. I was trying to load up my old iPod (which I have since named Lil' Blue. :P) on iTunes, and of course, the screen's backlight starts to violently flicker, driving me mad. Soon, I wasn't able to see a thing and ended up manually shutting it down (again) and contacting Gateway (remember, Swampie's manufacturer?) and since his warranty is expired, we might actually have to pay money to fix him up.

THE FOLLOWING DAMAGES SWAMPIE HAS:
  • The backlight problem (obviously)
  • How Swampie says I have no internet for the first 20 minutes I've been logged in.
  • Physical damage, i.e, the top of the screen half is cracked in two places, the bottom of the screen half has a large crack on the lower right corner and causes the screen to bend, one of the hinges is missing, and the paneling on the bottom half of Swampie, at the top and closest to the screen half has been trying to come off. :P

So y'all can see what we had to contend with. We might have quite a big sum on our hands. :(

But I do have good news!

Hannah will probably be able to help me get Helmet up and running! :D That's an amazing break!
I can't tell how how ecstatic I am that I found someone to help me out in that regard. :D

Okay, as far as I know, I'm done.
